Eleventh House

The 11th house represents long term goals and our attitude and ability to operate in a group. It shows our need to break free of boundaries and the friendships we cultivate while doing so. Our hopes and dreams and the need to associate with like minded individuals is also a big part of what this house represents.

Friendships and humanitarian efforts are an integral part of this house. The way we make friends and the type of friends we choose is seen here. Are you one of those people with very few but solid friendships, or are you more the type to have lots and lots of acquaintances? This house can show which way we tend to lean in those areas.

This house is less personal than the 5th, looking more toward the needs of the many. We can also see here a tendency to follow the crowd or be the maverick. What groups we relate to, what types of causes we get behind (or the lack of) is indicated by this house.
