Ninth House

The 9th house represents higher learning, foreign peoples, cultures and countries. It can be an indicator of our philosophy of life, attitude toward religion, ideals and sense of justice. The ninth house is also an indicator of how we view the legal system, and our ability to be open minded. Printing and publishing are also part of this house.

Religion viewed through this house should not be confused with Spirituality. In the context of the 9th house we are talking about the institution of religion, not the personal spiritual nature of a person. Though many planets, or even certain planets, can indicate a person with more religious tendencies.

Our thirst for adventure and whether or not we have a tendency toward wanderlust can be a part of this house as well.
