Friendship and companionship are very important to Aquarius and those whom they feel close to will benefit from their unwavering loyalty. They have a real enjoyment for meeting new people and prefer to be with others than by themselves.

Sometimes Aquarius feels that others do not have the capacity to comprehend their ideas and can become annoyed when others fail to understand them. Under these circumstances they can become argumentative and have the capacity to discard people from their intellectual circle.

Aquarius does not put on airs and cannot tolerate hypocrisy in any form. They feel that everyone is equal and will not put up with anything less. They are interested in and can be very sympathetic to the human condition, but their sympathy is intellectual. They have a very strong sense of what is right and wrong in society and will generally strive for the underdog.

Though emotionally Aquarius tends to be intellectual, their emotions can be very intense. They tend to run hot and cold though, which can be confusing to others.
