ARIES: The Ram

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and marks the beginning of spring. It is aggressive and direct and is the sign of new beginnings. Because Aries is a Cardinal Sign it is very good at starting new things, but doesn't have the tenacity and follow through that a Fixed Sign would, or the adaptability of a Mutable Sign.

Aries is also a very physical sign and not prone to sit and daydream. It wants to put ideas into action. Aries can have a tendency to be impulsive however, and needs to learn to think before acting. There is also teneancy towards impatience which can lead to projects going unfinished.

This is a very energetic sign and highly competitive. Ruled by the planet Mars, Aries can have a tendency to be overly aggressive and forceful in their dealings with others.

Emotionally Aries can be very volatile. While they are quick to anger they are also quick to recover and do not hold grudges. They get over things very rapidly and expect others to behave in the same manner. Patience is not one of their strong points.
