Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, and has enjoyed a reputation in astrological communities as the universe's good guy. Jupiter is believed to be the planet of good luck and benevolence.

While it's true that Jupiter does tend to expand the possibilities, even too much of a good thing can be bad. Whatever Jupiter touches seems to be magnified, which can lead to great things, or can cause one to not live up to their full potential because things have always come too easy.

Jupiter takes approximately 12 years to get though one cycle of the zodiac, which leaves it in each sign for just about 1 year.
