LEO: The Lion

The Sun is the ruler of this sign and the vibrant personality of Leo is unmistakable. The house of creativity (or the 5th) is its natural home.

Leo's are generous and outgoing and have a real love of life. They can be daring and have a flair for the dramatic. They love to be the center of attention and really shine when all eyes are upon them.

Leo can run into trouble by assuming that others have the same sense of integrity as they do. They are strongly attracted to the opposite sex, but can get into trouble if their hearts are allowed to rule their heads.

Leo can be overly confident and too frank with others. This can cause them difficulties in maintaining friendships as they can offend others without realizing it. Tact is required when dealing with a Leo because they can be ferocious when stung. They do not always see this about themselves though and can dismiss others feelings as too sensitive. They want to be well thought of however, and do try to pay attention to their affect on others.

Emotionally Leo is very proud and has a need to be the center of attention. They crave reinforcement from those they love and can become quite difficult to be around if they feel they are not getting the attention they deserve. When they are feeling good they are extremely affectionate and attentive with their loved ones.
