SAGITTARIUS: The Archer

Sagittarius is naturally located in the 9th house and is ruled by the planet Jupiter. They are the seekers of the zodiac, always looking for an adventure. They are optimistic and friendly, and have a reputation for being lucky.

Nothing rankles Sag more than feeling tied down. This does not mean that they are unable to meet their responsibilities; however it does mean that it has to be their own choice. Don't ever try giving a Sagittarius an ultimatum; chances are you will be disappointed in the results.

Knowledge is an important part of Sag's makeup, and they are forever broadening their horizons. They are curious and are always learning, even if they don't have the opportunity to attend a school of higher education. As a result of their constant questing for new information they make very interesting companions.

They are open minded and willing to consider another's perspective, but are inclined to believe in their own judgment more than anyone else's. They can be obstinate when their theories are challenged, and may lack tact when dealing with others. They are honest, but can have the tendency to be too honest

Emotionally Sagittarius can be a bit detached and more philosophical than other signs. They are not likely to get mired in emotional scenes or situations. They can be brutal when provoked, but recover quite quickly and don't hold a grudge.
