Virgo makes its home in the sixth house and is the second sign ruled by the planet Mercury. Like Gemini, information is a powerful force for this sign. Virgo, however, wants to create something tangible. Instead of gathering bits of information Virgo works meticulously to unearth as much as possible before moving on. They can become experts in their chosen fields.

It is important, above all else for them to feel as though they are of service. They must also feel that their contribution is appreciated or their amazing analytical abilities will turn to the negative. When they feel they have been treated poorly their retentive minds can produce exhaustive data about the perceived infractions.

Quite shy in nature they are cautious and reserved when meeting new people. They are devoted and affectionate companions once they feel comfortable.

Emotionally Virgo takes an intellectual approach, and has a tendency to want to understand their feelings more than feel them. If they can learn to feel them first and then analyze them they will be much happier.
